The Nillion team announced that it will shut down its own L2 network in the coming weeks, as the project now operates on the Ethereum mainnet.

Holders of NIL tokens need to transfer them from L2 to Ethereum L1 before the network is shut down using the official bridge https://bridge.nillion.network/.

Nillion is a decentralized network designed to securely process data without revealing it. The project has developed its own Nil Message Compute (NMC) architecture, which enables computations on encrypted data without the need to decrypt it.

The project raised $45 million from Hashkey, Arthur Hayes, Hack VC, GSR, and others. It also raised $20 million in a Coinlist sale.
