In the last week of October, Samsung will launch USDC transfers via Samsung Wallet. Users will be able to send USDC to compatible crypto wallets worldwide without any fees from Samsung, as well as transfer funds to bank accounts in over 60 countries with conversion into local currencies.

The service has been developed in collaboration with Coinbase and Bastion. USDC storage will be provided by Coinbase Prime, and Solana and Sui will also be involved in the technical infrastructure. Users won't need to install separate crypto apps or manage private keys themselves.

In the first phase, the feature will be available to adult users of compatible Galaxy devices in the U.S. In the future, Samsung is considering enabling payments with stablecoins in online stores and conventional retail outlets via NFC.
