No threats to users’ wallets themselves have been identified so far. The company is working on the issue together with external partners and security consultants.
As a precautionary measure, MetaMask is removing the affected validators from its staking service, coordinating this with clients and partners. The staking is non-custodial; the company does not control the keys used to withdraw funds from clients.
