At its annual summit, Robinhood announced that it will give U.S. retail customers access to perpetual futures, one of the most actively traded crypto products that has so far been available mainly on offshore exchanges. The contracts will be executed through Robinhood’s own exchange, Bitstamp: leverage up to 10x on BTC and ETH, and up to 3x on other coins. According to the company, leverage on smaller tokens has been reduced to “start a bit more safely.”
Other announcements include: 24/7 stock trading, including weekends; AI agents from Robinhood for research and trading; integration of third-party agents into Robinhood Legend via MCP; extended options trading hours; and intraday margin up to 4x.

LIT drops by 14%. The market had expected Robinhood to launch futures via Lighter rather than through its own Bitstamp.
