The old version was shut down in 2023 along with Aztec Connect. The new zk.money operates on top of the updated Aztec L2 network on Ethereum. The initial deposit is visible on the public ledger, while subsequent activity within the network is already private.
The product is in early alpha testing; the code has not been audited, and the risks are acknowledged by the team itself.
