Key updates:

  • Companies will be able to add their own independent validators for additional cross-chain transaction verification;
  • Native support for KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and transfer limits has been introduced;
  • Issuers will be able to independently configure the speed of transaction confirmation—from a few seconds to full network finality;
  • The APIs, SDKs, and CLIs have been updated for easier integration.

According to Chainlink, over $84 billion in cross-chain assets are already secured via CCIP, with more than $15 billion transferred to the CCIP infrastructure in just the past four months.

Among the companies and projects using or supporting CCIP are Swift, DTCC, UBS, Fidelity International, ANZ, AWS, Google Cloud, Aave, and Maple.
