According to Ondo’s documentation, BlackRock serves as the model provider for three products—BLKHIon, BLKDIGon, and BLKGRWon.
- The model provider develops the portfolio strategy and selects assets.
- Ondo implements and manages the on-chain portfolio: executes trades based on the underlying basket, performs rebalancing, and ensures token minting and redemption.
At the same time, BlackRock does not issue or custody the portfolio tokens and has no direct obligations to token holders
