SOPH -14%
Upbit has assigned Sophon (SOPH) the status of a trading-risk asset and temporarily suspended deposit acceptance for it.
The decision took effect on September 22 at 09:00 Moscow time. It affects the trading pairs SOPH/KRW, SOPH/BTC, and SOPH/USDT.
The reason, according to the exchange, is that the project failed to disclose material information in a timely manner through appropriate channels and also made changes to the token circulation plan without a transparent and justified procedure. Upbit determined that the combination of these factors poses a risk to holders.
The status will remain in effect until the second week of October (October 12–16). Following the review, the exchange will make one of three decisions: extend the special status, lift it, or completely discontinue support for SOPH trading.
All deposits sent after 09:00 Moscow time on September 22 will not be credited to accounts and will be returned to the senders; the refund process is also suspended during the restriction period and will resume only after the status is lifted. The exchange specifically warned users not to replenish their SOPH balances until the restriction is lifted—such transfers may be irreversible.
