The Japanese public company Remixpoint sold all of its altcoins on September 1: approximately 901 ETH, 13,920 SOL, 1.19 million XRP, and 2.8 million DOGE. The total sales amount was about 879 million yen, with a profit of roughly 118 million yen. Only DOGE resulted in a loss; all other positions were closed at a profit.
Now, the only crypto asset remaining on the company’s balance sheet is BTC—around 1,506 coins. Remixpoint explained that the decision was driven by a desire to focus the portfolio and shift toward a strategy exclusively centered on BTC.
The proceeds from the sale are planned to be used for business development in the industrial energy storage sector and to strengthen the company’s financial base. Remixpoint is the second-largest publicly listed crypto treasury company in Japan after Metaplanet.
