Sber plans to develop lending against digital assets and, in the future, accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether as collateral.
According to Anatoly Popov, Deputy Chairman of Sberbank’s Management Board, the bank already has practical experience working with cryptocurrencies and is ready to adapt its products once the new regulations take effect.
Sber plans to expand its product lineup after all provisions of the new regulations come into force.
