The largest publicly traded Bitcoin miner, MARA, reported a large-scale Bitcoin sale: from January to June, the company sold approximately 23,093 BTC at an average price of about $70,631 per coin.
According to the company, the proceeds were allocated to:
- funding operational activities;
- business development;
- maintaining an adequate level of liquidity.
At the same time, MARA has not abandoned its Bitcoin strategy: as of June 30, the company’s balance still held 35,577 BTC, valued at around $2.08 billion.
