Tether International has published its second-quarter 2026 attestation report, prepared by BDO—the world’s fifth-largest independent auditing firm. The report confirms the accuracy of Tether’s data on reserves backing USD₮ as of June 30, 2026.

Key figures:

  • The volume of USD₮ issued rose to approximately $184.6 billion—a $446 million increase from the end of Q1, despite a decline in the overall stablecoin market capitalization.
  • The share of USD₮ in the stablecoin market exceeded 60%.
  • Net operating profit for the quarter reached about $1.50 billion—mainly driven by U.S. Treasury bonds and repurchase agreements.
  • Reserves exceeded liabilities by roughly $4.11 billion.
  • The company reduced its exposure to secured lending by approximately $2.38 billion (15%).
  • Gold reserves increased by 14 tons, surpassing 146 tons.
