Developers plan to launch Aero in September 2026. Currently, the protocol and its underlying system MetaDEX03 are undergoing a security audit. Three auditing teams have so far found no critical vulnerabilities or high-risk issues.
The audit period has been extended by approximately one month to conduct an additional audit using Mythos. Following this, a three-week vulnerability bounty program with a prize pool of $400,000 will kick off.
Code publication will begin on August 3; the final stage of the audit will last until August 21, and the bounty program will run from August 24 to September 11. The exact launch date will be announced after the audit results are finalized.
Before the full release, a simplified version of Aero—Aero Lite—with SlipstreamV3 pools may also become available on certain networks.
Aero is a protocol developed by Dromos Labs that will merge Aerodrome and Velodrome into a single platform with a shared token, AERO. The protocol is set to become a unified liquidity layer for Ethereum and will enable token swaps across different networks.
