The TON community has completed the vote on renaming the network’s native token. 81.22% of participants voted in favor of changing the name from Toncoin (TON) to Gram (GRAM).
The changes will take effect on June 15, 2026, at 15:00 Moscow Time. At the same time, the network itself will retain its name, The Open Network (TON)—only the token’s name, ticker, and logo will be changed.
Users won’t need to take any action. Balances, addresses, smart contracts, NFTs, staking positions, and DeFi holdings will remain unchanged. No exchange, migration, or conversion of tokens is planned.
After the update:
- Toncoin → Gram;
- ticker TON → GRAM;
- trading pairs on exchanges will be renamed (for example, TON/USDT → GRAM/USDT);
- for three months, it is recommended to display the asset as Gram (previously Toncoin).
