MetaMask has introduced Agent Wallet, a non-custodial wallet that enables autonomous AI agents to trade on the Ethereum network.

Swaps, perpetual contracts, prediction markets, and liquidity provision are supported on EVM-compatible networks and Hyperliquid.

Each transaction undergoes mandatory simulation and adheres to user-defined presets—daily spending limits and whitelisted addresses. Blockaid scans transactions for fraud; suspicious operations require 2FA verification. Transactions deemed safe are insured up to $10,000 via MetaMask Transaction Protection.

The wallet is compatible with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and other frameworks. Limited testing via CLI is currently underway; general availability is scheduled for summer 2026.
