A hacker found a vulnerability in the Echo Protocol contract that allowed him to create 1,000 eBTC ($76.7 million) out of thin air for free.
He used them as collateral in Curvance, transferred WBTC to Ethereum, and laundered 384 ETH (~$821,000) through Tornado Cash.
