Meta* (banned in the Russian Federation) has begun rolling out payments to content creators in stablecoins, using Stripe’s payment infrastructure.
In the first phase, the program is being launched in select countries, including Colombia and the Philippines. Users will be able to convert the received funds into their local currency.
At the same time, the company does not plan to issue its own cryptocurrency, limiting itself to integrating already existing stablecoins.
