The NFT platform Foundation is closing after a failed sale deal.

Co-founder of the NFT platform Foundation, Kayvon, announced the closure of the service. At the beginning of the year, the company agreed to sell the platform to a buyer who planned to continue its operation, but the deal fell through - the new owner was unable to ensure operational activities. The team does not intend to look for other buyers in the current market conditions.

The platform's infrastructure is already being shut down. However, users' assets remain under their control. The media files and metadata of NFTs issued on Foundation will be stored by the team for one more year - during this time, users are recommended to independently save important assets via IPFS.
